Just another sight, nothing special. Most shooters will say that they never look at the sight when shooting. However, I do look at mine but only because of cross dominance. I like Hi-Viz but make sure you put glue on the screw-in types, otherwise they'll fall off after a couple of hunts.

No site can improve your shooting, other than maybe for a turkey gun that is "rifle shot." If you go take a shooting lesson from one of the "big dogs" most of them will take a pair of pliers and remove the front site from your gun first thing. Seriously.

Not to take away from what the others have said, but the Magni-comp helped my shooting. I have an issue with cross dominance. I'm right handed but mildly left eye dominant. I switched over to shooting left handed some time ago but I still have an issue with my right eye trying to take over from time to time. Some days I'd be dropping everything some days I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. With the magni-comp you only see the dot when the eye over the barrel is in charge. When I bring the gun up I'm not looking for the sight, I'm concentrating on the target, but I do pick up the sight in my periphial vision. It may just be a phsycological crutch I was more consistant last year after I installed the sight.

I use Hi-Viz or Uni-Dot sights. I shoot right-handed, but I'm left eye dominant and refuse to shoot lefthanded.

Same here.

I'm not trying to hijack but, I was watchin a show on TOC and the guy was talkin about gun fitting and how to tell if your gun fitted you. He said close your eyes and shoulder your gun then open them and see how you're looking down the barrel. I did it and some of my guns I was lookin straight down it and others I was lookin kinda across the barrel. Good thing I don't pull up on birds with my eyes closed.

Second that. I would not say he was a big dog but a dang fine shooter. He reached over to my shotgun and yanked the bead off. It has improved my shooting but takes a little while to click. I am now trying to explain it to people but it is hard to. He said we are shooting...not shooting bubba style. It still pissed me off a little when it happened.
