Duck Hole Question

Got a one acre duck hole in the woods. I used 24D on it twice this summer and now I have a solid johnson grass duck hole about waist to shoulder high.

Question - Will ducks use johnson grass or should I get rid of it?

I have seen them use it, as well as doves

Odds are real low the ducks will use it. I would get rid of the Johnson grass.

My hunting land is there, I work in DC and Atlanta.

I was just managing like benny taught me, and the johnosn grass just took over this year. Granted there is some barnyard grasses and sedges, but the johnson grass explosion sort of caught me by surprise.

I too have killed doves in johnson grass many times.

I vote get rid of the johnson grass everywhere but around the edges of the hole.
