Not sure if any of you know this young man, but i had the honor of doing so. I ran track against him, showed in 4-H with him, and had many classes with him here at MS State in Agribusiness. He was amazing to be around and he will be truly missed. Please keep his family and friends in yours prayers during this trying time.

From what i'm hearing form a very reliable source is that there is still some controversy over exactly what happened. Alot of questions and no answers yet.

I hate to hear things like that. One life taken, and another destroyed. Not to mention all the family and friends that will never be the same. God be with these people.

Wonderful family they are. Big farming family. Not one of them a bad seed! I knew of his sister the most but did business with his father due to farming store. Some people just have that kind of luck. The Burton boy is from Isola and mishaps seem to ccur around this young man.

And the girl WAS RELEASED later that same day!! (pending investigation)

Still,,,,,,what is this world coming to?

I don't see how releasing her was any harm....she was charged with only DUI at the time, and i doubt she is a run threat. Not condoning anything that she did, she'll pay the price in the end.

Bad thing that happened to that guy though...I didn't know him personnally, but we had mutual friends, none of them ever said anything negetive in his direction.

This is the second time Drew has lost a very close friend. I do have to say that it had been rumored that Kyle was ready to go and Drew wanted to stay. This isn't true though. They were both still having a good time.
I just thought i'd say that in case anybody had heard that particular story.
It seems like Indianola goes through this pretty often, or at least more than most areas. All very tragic cases.
