GH, I know you're edumacated in the true Starkville way, but you're just wrong.
Eli Manning: 6 years, $45 million guaranteed, $9 million incentives, $20 million signing bonus
Philip Rivers: 6 years, $40.5 million guaranteed, $10 million incentives, $14.5 million signing bonus
Perfectly OK to rag on everything that is Ole Miss, but at least do your homework first. Those numbers aren't really even close.

What Rivers got was all that San Diego could pay a #1 pick. I would have to suspect that a New York team would have more money to spend for a high draft pick. The announcers during the draft said the same thing..........when a draft pick is drafted for another the lower picked should receive more money, or the amount of what the team could pay for that higher pick. If I was the chargers I would've kept him and made him sit on the bench for the year.......then he'd come around from all that nonsense he and lil' daddy archie were talking. He should've stayed in San Diego anyway, at least they went to the playoffs whereas Eli couldn't even win a game in new york.

great pic

Makes you wonder about all those Eli stories coming from Ole Miss are true.
Rumor (remember I went to MSU) is he was a total jack-(donkey) to women and various things because he was Eli.
