Well 5 years in the making...

Well this comes to a head today. So far what has been released about what Leo said at the COI hearing, the talks of collusion between the NCAA and State, the recording of his mom, and of course everything with Ole Miss... its not a good look for either school. This thing has gotten ugly and could very likely set both schools back. I highly doubt any school in the future will willingly let the NCAA interview a player after this fiasco.
That 2015 season of both schools being the national talk may not be seen again until 2025 at this point

Just keep in mind. The people you are believing about this black heli BS are the same ones that had you certain it was all about women's hoops and track, that it was all about Nutt, and that Freeze was a man of integrity.
Enjoy the day. Y'all earned it ... all by youselves!

No one knows the whole truth, but the fact that multiple people told the same story about Leo saying he received 10k from State and the collusion. Multiple sources said that the COI was visibly angry with Leo's testimony... Who knows.
You're vehemently against State doing any wrong doing... I've gathered that from your posts on the matter... You seem to think Ole Miss is the Anti-Christ Communist Regime that needs to be brought to heel. If you think State is a clean program... I got bridge to sell you as well.
Ole Miss was paying players... Yep... I don't disagree with it. But the fact that every school does that is pretty obvious. We just did it in the wrong ways. He named names of who gave him the money for State... not just "I received 10k from State". He named Calvin Green the Co-Lin coach... Co-Lin coach that has funneled players to Ms State.... 14 in fact and 0 towards Ole Miss (Before you say anything yes I'm aware Ole Miss has JUCO's that funnel players there way as well). But this isn't a "family friend" giving money to a college kid. How many family friends you see giving kids 10 g's? I would bet none. Now the real question is who is funneling the money through Calvin Green?
So you're saying all of this is made up? Alrighty then...

All I'm saying is that you are trusting people proven to be liars and proven to be telling false truths to prop up OMU athletics.
I've never once claimed MSU never pays players.
And the collusion claims are purely laughable. Have you cared to count how many Level 1 violations don't involve LL at all? I'll await your answer.

Leo says Mullen talked to him about the interview in April when the interview with NCAA happens in August. And I never said that we were innocent, I just said that all of this was interesting and had gotten ugly. You're the one taking things out of context.
When did I say we were 100% innocent in all of this and its a witch hunt, I'll await your answer.

What a cripple fight this turned into.
If you think y'all are guilty, then today should be a big relief. Enjoy it!

Yep thats pretty rough. Atleast its not additional 2 year bowl ban on-top of the one we already self imposed. 24 overall scholarships will hurt. We'll see if Luke can hold together any of the current players. '16 and '17 recruiting classes already hurt from all this NCAA stuff, so we'll have another years of pretty down recruiting. But atleast its done, time to move forward

Why all the doom and gloom? Remember what happened the season after Ohio state Was handed a bowl ban after the 2011 season?

First question out of the gate in the press conference "Do you think the NCAA is corrupt?"
Only losing 13 scholarship players isn't that bad. If Luke can keep most guys on board, we won't be in a terrible spot.
Seems like Lodge, Ta'Amu, and AJ are on board for now.
