My 86 year old dad drew a gator tag for north east zone, we put in at Columbus and Aberdeen only to see very few and they have been hunted hard and are scared and skiddish, any sighting or ideas on other places in the north zone.

Your experience has been mine. I've never gator hunted in the Northeast Region, but I've been on the Tenntom and Tibbee a good bit at night, and gators are pretty few and spread out. I reckon that's why the odds of drawing a tag in that region are better.
