Bush and Conservation

President Bush recently announced that he intends to fund CRP and WRP projects that are nearing expiration. Good news or so it would seem. With the election growing near is this something he intends to do or a campaign promise that won't get kept? Lets look at his record.

La. coastal erosion is probably the biggest conservation challenge we will ever face, It will have a negative effect on every duck hunter in the Ms. Flyway if not stopped. Bush recently sent one of his top aides to La. and he spent several days touring the coast. After reporting his findings Bush made an announcement that he would make this a "top priority" but when it got time for funding he only pledged 5 million of the 45 that was needed. Chump change compared to what was actually needed and remember this was one of his top priorities. The old adage that "talk is cheap but whiskey cost money" seems to apply. A top GOP strategist and spokes person recently went on record stating that conservation was primarily a "liberal" issue and was not at the top of the list for Republicans. Words of warning for us hunters and fishermen? Bush's track record for putting his money where his mouth is concering conservation has not been a good one thus far. Thats something we better think about as hunters before we cast our ballot in November.

Im just speaking to you in kindergarden fairy tale terms so you can understand the disney land version of the difference between good and evil in this world thats all.

Benny - As far as I am concerned, you are the only one that has a distorted view of the difference in good and evil. To that, I am sure you will disagree. I really don't give a crap.

If he did, he would have gotten rid of you "@#$%#" a long time ago, because you do NOT represent the good and love that God is all about.

There you go again making references to something that you don't believe in.

There you go stereotyping again...it's all or nothing with you Benny. That's shallow logic for such a fine wordsmith. Surely there are some Christians out there that are opposed to the war. Based on the most recent poll numbers, there's gotta be a few in there

Your feeble attempt at quantification adds no more integrity to your argument.

"Stratification of Human Nature" by Benny the Anti-Christian

Your are so full of hate directed to a very large majority of your fellow Americans. It's a damn shame.

Good night.
