That said, I have heard that he is retiring (and also receiving a good portion of his buyout over a number of years) at the end of this season. I hope that is true. He needs to be gone. I think he is actually battling some health issues as well. All the more reason...the game has passed him by.

I think they will go after Kirby Smart, Jimbo Fisher, Justin Fuente, Mike Gundy and/or Kyle Whittingham. I don't know if they get any of them though. I would hope they would at least make Chip Kelly turn them down as well.

With Alleva as the AD, I am prepared to be underwhelmed.

I'm not sure how reliable that article is. Miles could very well be leaving, but most of that "replacement" list is a joke!

Would actually be funny to see Saban go back to LSU just because of the way LSU fans hate him and have talked so bad about him and call him evil and the devil.

You ain't lying. LSU fans would embrace him with open arms though. It would be pitiful and hilarious at the same time.

If Miles is gone, I think the first call Alleva makes is to Jimbo Fisher. When he turns LSU down, I would not be at all surprised if Larry Fedora or Mike "I'm a man" Gundy will be the next two calls. I would love for Chip Kelly or Gary Patterson, but I think that is wishful thinking.

I hope that they are actually formulating a plan as I type. LSU has too good of a recruiting class lined up and too many great, and uncommitted in-state prospects, to screw this year up.

Yeah I think Jimbo would turn them down and I don't blame him. He has it made at FSU.
