OK, so Saban is going to Texas. Probably at the end of the year. Texas has a bunch of oilmen with big pockets and Alabama just has folks who own catfish businesses. Tuscaloosa is an absolute dump compared to the glorious capital of Texas. Saban has too much pressure in Tuscaloosa because someone heard it from a friend, who, heard from a friend, who....heard from another he's been messing around.....
If Alabama wins the NC this year and Mac loses anymore games this year, he is gone. Oh wait, was it if Alabama loses to Auburn and Texas doesn't win the Big 12 then he goes there? Can't remember the scenario...someone refresh my memory.
He's in the midst of perhaps the greatest dynasty in college football history and he's gonna pick up and move to Texas? Hate to break it to anyone --especially the Texas fanboys-- but Alabama is a better job.
What about all the soundbytes this week? "I don't know where this stuff comes from." "Its a bunch of BS." "I am totally committed to the University of Alabama." Should I insert the infamous "I am not going to be the head coach at Alabama" quote here or can someone else do it, ad nauseam?
We hear it every year and we will continue to hear it. But it aint gonna happen..unless I am not reading between the lines...or maybe it will just be a lesson we have to learn.
Anybody wanna wager?

You are obviously wrapped up in the euphoria of beating a team that the Rebs beat three weeks ago while missing numerous starters on both sides of the ball.
But, the fat lady has yet to sing on the current season. There is still a lot of football left to play. Anything can happen. The only things certain in life are death and taxes.
Yes, I think most of us agree that the most likely scenario at this point would be for Saban to remain at Alabama and spurn any overtures from Texas or elsewhere. And with every Texas win, Brown's job becomes more secure.
Yet, if Texas drops two of their remaining games, and Auburn were to upset the Tide, things could look a little differently than they do right now from all perspectives. We shall see.
In the meantime, it's pretty funny watching you get your panties in a wad over the speculation.

......they were only hugging because they both know it's their last season in Tuscaloosa and they wanted to go out winners.......makes it easier to leave when they can say "we have nothing else to accomplish here"........if they lose, they have unfinished business and become bad people because they are chasing money.......so their exit strategy / ride out of Tuscaloosa on the white horse remain in place.....

Yes, I am wrapped up in the euphoria or yet another win. You nailed it. Although it really has nothing to do with the post....I am strictly just calling you and boog boy out. Its too easy and too frequent. I do find your downplaying of LSU quite comical.
Plenty of football left to play indeed, but that has nothing to do with Saban going to Texas, as I laid out for you and willing to take any wagers. You seemed to have several scenarios, so pick which one(s) you want and lets do it.
If you are referring to the fate of the Alabama football team in general, who knows what will happen. We may win it all this year, we may not. I am sure you will be the first one to point out the "failure" if it doesn't happen. Won't really matter much in comparison to your teams success, because Alabama has accomplished more in one year and I have witnessed more in my lifetime than you ever could dream about.... and obviously based on your sunshine pumping blog posts on here, there is an abundant amount of dreaming.
Panties quite comfy. Just love calling out an Ole Miss fanboy for his delusional predictions - whether they be on the field or off. Good luck in the Music City Bowl..

Hey Webbie....? I know Bama is a c...d lock for another National Championship this year but your hugging video made me think, who is going to be Saban's QB for next year. Tatto boy has been one common thread in all these NCs.

Not sure who at this point will be the next QB - Blake Sims will be back. One of 4 other QB's currently on campus is:

Actually McElroy won the first title. McElroy and McCarron both won titles their first year as starters so with all the talent coming back next year I am hopeful they can have a good year with a new QB.

We can all talk about which school is the best football job all we want but the truth is - that is in the eyes of the beholder. I personally had rather coach in the sec and at Bama but I am sure lots of others would favor Texas. The thing is we have no idea what motivates a man like Nick Satan! A coach that will win his 3rd national championship in 4 years this year. A coach that makes millions of dollars a year at Alabama. But also a coach that is driven more than probably any coach in America. So I have some questions.
Could Saban (eventhough 62 yrs old) want a new challenge?
Could Saban not be happy with the millions he makes and want to make more each year?
Could Saban have already decided I am going to coach at Bama until someone can end my title run and then retire?
Could Saban be so driven at Bama that he coaches their 10 more years just to see how many national championship he can win?
The bottom line is both schools would be willing to pay him $10 million per year.
He can have the #1 recruiting class at either school every year.
He can win National Championships at either school.
So the real questions are what motivates Nick Saban at this time in his life.

No one really knows what motivates the Dark Lord. It's not money.
He very well could retire at the end of the season. He could coach 10 more years. Neither would surprise me.
But he ain't going to Texas.

Heck...if he wants a real challenge...I mean if he REALLY is the best coach out there....if he wants to PROVE beyond all doubt JUST how great he is.....why go to schools where the job is easy????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Send him to MSU or UM and then we will know

And at 11:30 am today, Da' Shawn Hand, the nations #1 prospect (per Rivals), committed to.....
The University of Alabama.
Saban has already informed the media, his players, and many recruits, that he is too old to accept another challenge. Life is good for him, living in T-town and spending his off-time (as little as that is) putting around Lake Burton in Georgia on his pontoon boat.

I hear that Brett Farve is getting him to coach at USM
But I also hear that if Dan Mullen looses the Egg Bowl, he will be coming to Starkville
