At the end of 3 quarters, it's an 11 point game. Yikes.
The Tide is just one turnover/ bad play away from a nail biter against the mighty Rams.

Rams win 3rd quarter. But, the Tide 12th man takes over the 4th.

31-6.....Bama scored when they wanted. Former OC that helped win two BCS championships. Very manilla in prep for next week. Did anyone really doubt the outcome of this game?
Nope. RTR!

Bama was missing 2 starting WR, starting OL, and 3 starters in the secondary and Yeldon was suspended for first half.

And..........they were playing Colorado State.
With only an 11 point lead early in the 4th quarter, and just having gone 3 and out on offense and punted to the Rams, Saban didn't look as calm and comfortable as apparently all of you guys were.

Clearly the poor play was due to players being terrified of next weeks game.

That is funny coming from a fan of a team that would have lost to Vanderbilt if the defensive players had realized Scott was not out of bounds.

However, my team ain't ranked No 1 in the country and coming off two straight national titles. We were supposed to struggle on the road at Vandy and win a very close game --- which we did.
There are some very defensive folks here, as demonstrated by the comments in this thread. It's not like I said "Aalabama sucks" or voiced anything positive about Ole Miss ( which seems to be a major irritant to the Gumps, Bumps, and Chumps here), I merely made an observation of fact about the score of the game early in the 4th quarter. One would have thought that I pissed in someone's whiskey drink, or criticized their hunting dog.
For exhibit B, see the thread entitled "Saban to Texas" . It is a hilarious exhibition of arguing over nothing. Kinda like a Seinfeld episode.
It's gonna be a long week.

I was simply stating the facts that they were missing six starters, then you had to make a snide comment about my reply. Bama has a game like this every year. It does concern me at all. Last year thy gave up 300 plus yards rushing to a crappy team and people were all going crazy about it but guess what they still one the title. It is called playing down to your competition and there were many teams that did it yesterday on perhaps the worst day of college football. You may also have seen it last year if you watched the Bama/Ole Miss game.

No kidding----almost as bad as the loons on MSNBC if someone makes fun of Obama---people need to relax a little.

What, I can't mess with Ole Miss fans the week of the game? Is that not the fun of college football. Trust me my feelings are not hurt by anything said by Ole Miss fans. Until they are truly relevant I honestly don't care what they say or do. Seems that it is some of y'all that are taking things too seriously. As I stated before I simply was pointing out the fact that we were missing six starters. How would Ole Miss fare against Colorado State with out its two best WR's, most experienced OL, Scott for the first half, and then 3 starters in the secondary. Well they would probably not win 31-6. As the old saying goes haters are going to hate. Can't beat them on the field so try and beat them on the forums.

Well, OM was missing their #2 receiver (Vincent Sanders - been out since 1st week of August) their #1-1A O-Lineman (Aaron Morris - torn ACL in Vandy game) their #1 cornerback (Charles Sawyer - suspended for Texas game) one of their best defensive players overall (Denzel Nkemdiche - been out since Vandy game) against a better Texas team on the road and managed to beat the crap out of em.....so I'd assume they would have done OK against a much weaker Colorado State team at home.
And for the record - I don't much stock in that Bama/Colorado State game.....Bama can turn it up when they want to, I know that - they probably played a whole lot of young guys to get the some reps and that's the smart thing to do.....just stating that OM has been dealing with some injuries as well.....

I choose not to be defensive, sensitive, or analyze the upcoming game.
Why? Because as always, the Ole Miss football team will run out on the field, see Alabama's helmets, and cower down for another defeat.
