This story is crazy.

Hard to believe Te'o was the victim here. It should really hit the fan today once all the major newspapers and networks start digging into this. Notre Dame officials say they were made aware of the scam on Dec. 26 yet they allowed the lie to continue until yesterday. Remember that Notre Dame knew about it when they allowed the lie to be told at the national championship game on Jan 7. Te'o said he first met her in person and she visited him in Hawaii. His dad said she visited him in Hawaii several times. He said he talked to her on the phone for hours at a time when she did not exist, it was a dude. He said he sent roses to her funeral. Don't you think the florist would need to know where to deliver the roses? Sports Illustrated writer Peter Tramel wrote a big article about it all and did not use any of the SI fact checkers to make sure the story was true even knowing that no one had ever seen this woman in person. There has got to be more to this story than what Notre Dame is telling.

This is ridiculous. The only thing this guy is a victim of is being an idiot. And another thing if this guy is such a prolific best ever super star football player (who had his rear end complete handed to him in NC game) then he should have been up to his ears in legit tang.
