They were in our hip pocket all night. I would've like to have heard David yellum's call on that play. :lol:

the play wasn't all that pivotal for either team...but just the idea the ref said that...wow

We frequently get ref input on our offensive play calling. Doesn't Mississippi? Refs watch a lot of games and some are pretty knowledgable about offensive play calling.

I laughed when I heard the explanation, but I was very grateful.

Hopefully next time we get a holding penalty, they'll explain that the OLineman caught a cramp in his forearm and was unable to release the other players jersey. :D

I too thought it was funny, but if you think about it, it happens a lot. I have seen plenty quarterbacks drop back in the pocket and throw the ball to a spot, only to not have a receiver there. The difference this time is that the quarterback was under pressure.
