The only reason I could find not to go postal in traffic and start shooting morons was that there is absolutely no way I would be more than 20 yards away when the cops got there 45 minutes later.
Carry on.

I love my 5 minute commute to work. Oh, and if traffic gets bad, I know the cane fields.

Back when I lived south of the ATL, it only took me a couple of times getting hung up for HOURS in that crap to figure out when not to go through there.
By the way, have you been to Buckhead yet?

That's were I went today, kinda.
Left the sandy springs area where my hotel and class are to go to my last "must eat at" restaurant. The Varsity. Left at 453, drove 16 miles, got there at 540. Got done eating and back on the road at 615, and it was no better heading north so I ducked off at lenox square mall to kill some time. That place is quite an experience. Valet service at a mall with more BMW, Mercedes, Range Rovers, and the like vehicles than I have ever seen at one place, odd variety of people, but some pretty nice scenery.
There are stores selling, what I call, douche bag shirts (you know the ones) at every turn. Looked at a nice waxed canvas jacket, only to notice they douched it up with a bunch of patches and crap. And I have a problem paying $80+ for a polo shirt. Only store over here I have enjoyed has been REI and I dont hike, camp, bike, or kayak.
In conclusion, I have no reason to come back to this armpit anytime soon.

Congratulations, you learned your first lesson in ATL traffic. If it is after 6:30 going into the city, or after 4:00 going either direction from the northside, reconsider if you REALLY want to go. Afterall, when the city has a population of +/- 420,000 with a metropolitan population of over 5.5 million and a collective lack of infrastructure growth to accomodate that population, your chili-dog will be delayed. Have a good trip and check google maps traffic app before you venture out. It is usually fairly accurate. Good luck!

Son you aren't in Carrollton anymore. I avoid big cities like the plague. If it is bigger than Jafrica I don't wanna go.
