went hunting tuesday morning and just as it hit 5:20 had six gobblers answer out of one tree. i set up 75 yards away and they flew down at 5:26 and it was amazing cause they all lined up and ran my way after a few soft yeps. they came within fifteen yards, the only clear shot i had and i took it. two turkeys lined heads up and boom, two birds with one stone. 1 3 year old 10 1/2 INCH BEARD 1 INCH QUARTER SPURS. THE OTHER ONE 9 INCH BEARD 1 INCH SPURS. BEST HUNT EVER. ALL SIX TURKEYS WERE LONGBEARDS.

Isn't it against the law to take more than one bird a day? Even if it was an accident or done with one shot?

Two Turkeys with one shot......
a dream hunt
Killing two turkeys with one shot when only one is allowed and there is a $2500 reward for reporting violations then admitting it on a public forum read by thousands of people ....
priceless!
Do you think if she turns herself in, that she can get the reward and then use it to pay the fine?

Sounds gluttonous to me. No reason to kill two birds (turkeys that is) with one shot. What does that prove? Maybe that you need to learn what is behind your target or the patterning of your shotgun. Looks like someone needs to go take their hunter safety course again.

Skippy,
While I am rather well endowed, I can tell you that I would not have taken any shot unless I was 1. Absolutely sure I had a high % confidence level of a kill or 2. That I wasn’t going to hit a second turkey (Jake, hen or other) and 3. That I was not going to take out some other hunter.

OK...... so according to this post this was #2 and then you also killed 2 more on the 2 in 1 shot... so that is four birds....... now you just admitted being over the limit as well as taking more than one bird per day.... and wasn't it earlier you had jumped my booty about killing too many when in fact i have not exceeded the yearly limit.....
"HEY EVA BODY.....TIMBER IS OVER THE LIIMIT" ok.... but i aint gonna tell anyboby else !!
