Justify killing ducks and deer? Stano, you ain't never read the bible have you?

Going to church isn't what saves a man. Rather saved men go to church for their own good and the good of others christians.

But we can not deny that He wants at church (which is the Bride of Christ). The difference is Jesus was not welcomed. How many times have you walked into the church and were not welcomed?

More than once, I can tell you.

why do folks want to keep God locked up in a house, on ONE day???

are "honoring the sabbath", asking God to come into your heart, and going to a church on a certain day, at a certain time mutually exclusive?

to make an argument sound like they need it to sound, some folks say things such as, "you've got 6 days, God only asks for 1." i disagree, God didn't "ask" me for much of anything............life beat me down so bad, i found myself asking God for forgiveness, over and over................and over again. God doesn't ask anything from anyone, he doesn't have to....he gives us a mind to make decisions, very personaly ones.

i'm not so sure God is as concerned w/ where my body is on sunday as He is about where my HEART is.

i guess a question i have to ask myself is, "is my prayer time more 'Holy' outside in His creation or inside a church?" again, i think it depends on perspective............it sure is hard to focus w/ all the eye candy walking around Pine Lake

everyday, i mean EVERYDAY, i fail to live a Godly life........EVERYDAY. if i wait til sunday, it'll eat me up inside and i'll be right back where i was this time last year....................maybe if we try to live up to God's Word 7 days aweek, 1 hour on Sunday won't seem near as detrimental?

just some thoughts, gator

oh, i should add this.......

b/c i'm so new to really trying to be a better person, and finally trying to learn about God and His word, i think it's VITAL i'm in church on sunday.........wednesday and anyother day the doors are open.

i think it's far easier (for me) to grow spiritually while surrounded by the spirit.

so, yeah, i'll be there on sundays.........................first time in my life i'm gonna put something else ahead of my own wants/needs/desires, and it feels really good.

I agree.. I feel much closer to God while I am not in Church (don't ask me why, cause I don't know.. Maybe it is the distractions as gator said, maybe because I feel like I have to be there..) I think Church is great, I see it as an oppurtunity to learn how to be a better Christian ( I need all the help I can get)...To gather with people who are struggleing with the same things I struggle with. To look for oppurtunities to help out where and when I can, but I just don't have that deep feeling of closeness to God that others around me seen to have in Church
