3 1/2" shells are a ripoff financially and every other way.

Nothin that is hunted with a shotgun requires this. A shooter will learn that the wear and tear on the human ain't worth it either.

It is mainly an ego boost and bragging thang.

I just bought a case of 3.5's for $107.95. Show me where you can buy 2 3/4" or 3" shells for that price...........you won't.

We buy 3 inchs all day long for 87 bucks a case at macks. Show the price to bass pro and they'll match it after you argue with them about macks being a store or catalog. travis

You can buy Xperts for that, but not the good Drylok's or Kent's, which is what I would use if I were going the 2 3/4 or 3" route. I will use 3.5 Xperts for geese though. Most of the time Cabela's and Bass Pro won't match it unless the sporting goods store in question is less than 60 mi from the closest retail store.

yeah xpurts... best steel made man. cheap and fast, just like the wimmin I like. So they arent waterproof, quit leaving yur shells in yur pants for momma to wash and you wont care.

Next time bass pro wont do sumthing for you, play the race card. Start screaming 'if I wuz a white mofo you'd match da price'. They do it, and probably give ya double on yur reward cardy thingy. Its works, I promise ya. travis (who thinks if he really was black, he could get all kinda stuff by doing that... but is happy the way it works either way!)

For Kent 3" #2's $90. per case. BEFORE THE SEASON STARTED.

Seemed OK price. Having shopped around; I bought enough to last 3 hunters for the year.

Kent's, that's a good one. They are the same as Xperts. Basically a non-waterproof version of a Drylok. Those 3 1/2" Kents swell like an SOB if it is raining during a hunt.

First off, what is good about Kent?
I had those POS shells jam my gun all weekend at the goose shot.
I will never buy another box of them.

And I bought a case of Federal Prem 3" #4 for $89 at the start of season.
They kill ducks fine.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)

I have never had one prob from a Kent shell. I've had Kent's shoot when Drylok's wouldn't. I did have some problems with Estate's this season, but I'll take 4 or 5 duds in 2 cases worth of shells.

I don't think I had one problem this year with Xperts, 3" or 3 1/2's. I shot a case of them too.

teul2, where did you get the Federal's for that price?
