Not really jumping into this fight but it sounds like some people in the call making business are upset because the competition pool is getting bigger.

Just my $0.02.

The only thing possible for you to design was the barrel. Hence the barrel builder remark. And now it seems like you just ordered that part to so what did you design.

You made it sound like you spent all summer designing this call. Your words not mine. When it is obvious that the insert is a poly out of someone else's mold don't try to claim it as yours. Which you did.

Look man if you would have been straight up honest in the beginning this would have gone a different direction. Especially after I apologized but you continued to lie so me along with others exposed it.

sure...if that's how you see it...the only reason I said a word to begin with was b/c it was plainly obvious you thought from the go I was trying to come off as competition world class hand made duck call maker or something and that is NOT my intention nor was it and I've said it numerous times. "Working on this since summer" mean an idea I had for our company and got to a finished product last week...doesn't mean I been in a basement with a chisel and knife for 5 months. How hard is this to figure out for you??? I am the one that apologized for any misleading statements and explained that I don't know whether the inserts are Echo mold or not but I did not order from them and gave a reason why I didn't purchase my own mold and went why with these and how I came to that decision. I answered as many questions as I should've for somebody I'm not even flipping selling anything to. If that's not enough disclosure for you to get the picture then you got an agenda and the liar crap is your crutch in all this...which is just me stating the obvious at this point.

I've been intensely reading all 5 pages for the past day or so like a mystery novel... I don't think i know either Cam or DH, so I am just providing an unbiased opinion

my .02 cents... are Cam's calls going to run Echo or RNT out of business, NO... He is a guy that enjoys turning barrels ( that look really good IMO) and has FUN doing it... Hence the fact that he doesn't make a dime doing it. I turn my own calls and I know you have to have a TON of time and A LOT of money invested on wood for barrel's and insert's that are all just trial and error trying to find the right tune or look. Cam, keep on keepin on brother!

DH, I also see your frustration. Was it taken a little too far, maybe, but too each his own... It started with a simple question that ended up blowing out of control.

At the end of the day, this is a forum that i enjoy because it provides a fun environment for MS duckhunters to talk about EVERYTHING under the sun! Life is WAAY to short to blow up on our fellow brothers about a simple DUCK THREAD!

I just read it too. My take is somebody is a fruggin know it all internet poser. Who gives a chit what kind of insert is used. Im bad, im nationwide, ducks and all game fear me, as do most women.
