Mel's is on that little frontage street behind the flag down from the grocery store. Josies has the scenery, but a good bit of it is jailbait, and they don't look it.

An acquaintance asked two different girls one night to dance. They both looked 20 but were 16. Their dad's almost jumped him. There's more 18 and younger running around in there than you would think.

I second that Ramsey, but no one has mentioned Chuck's in Rolling Fork or the Stu-mart in Cary if these are still open. Those two women in the Stumart would put a soul food plate on you that you couldnt wash off and the Chuck burger with chili, bacon, cheese, and cole slaw. Brings back memories of the lower delta. You had to step on the double bacon cheeseburger at the Bear store just to get it too fit in your mouth. Now I reside at the Blue and White daily after the hunt. It is still good but has lost some of the local flavor. Oh, by the way best fried chicken in Tunica is at the Hole in the Wall quick stop next to the piggly wiggly. You got get there between 9am and 11am to get the best grub.

Josie's is overpriced and overrated IMO. Plus, you gotta drive from Harrisburg to Waldenburg and then drive back after having a few drinks. If it's steak you're after, hit Mel's. Home cooking at Betty's or Witt's End is pretty good. Mezcan joint serves the adult beverages.

Betty's is excellent....the grease cured my hangover as usual last Saturday after dove shooting.....Josies is good for drinks....Can't leave out Skinny J's in Cash or the Eagles Nest Cafe in Grubbs.......BBQ they cook in Waldenburg at the 4 way is pretty damn good on the weekends

Depending on where the x is and the way we travel to it, Coleman's bbq right there in Hernando just off 55 has some pretty good breakfast, but a damn good bbq plate for lunch. Huntin the delta we eat B&W. Tunica has a couple places there in town that have a pretty good lunch, though.
