crackhead wrote:MSDKMN after reading all that spew I WANT to go out and join a click and buy five ROBO'S. My opinion you deter hunters from wanting to get back to the basics by trying to talk down to em. You come off as a Used Car Salesmen/Evangelical Preacher with these sermons you blow all over us! Just my two cents!!

People don't like to hear the truth.

You are welcome to buy as many Robo's as you want and probably already use them. I'm sure the click has room for one or two more but rest assured you have to always agree with them or you'll soon see yourself on the outside.

Thanks for your 2 cents I'll take them into account. "NOT"

WELL i've been bitin my tounge and now its bleeding and i got to turn it loose. We all enjoy all the MANY aspects of duck hunting. All the many things you mentioned besides the killing, msduckmen, is what keeps all of us going hunting when there is a chance that we may or may not kill a duck. I am perfectly fine with going hunting and not killing a thing because of all the other positive aspects you have mentioned. But let me ask you a question. If killing a duck is truly not important to you at all like you claim, then would you still spend all the money we do on guns, shells, dogs, training, boats, blinds, fuel, leases or land, calls, waders, camo? (need i keep going?) Not to mention all the time and effort on top of all the tangible items previously mentioned. Unless you are a "special" person who likes to spend money like it is gong out of style (cause we all know duck hunting is not cheap) to go on cold boat rides and sit in freezing water in the dead of winter to LOOK at ducks and enjoy the commraderie, then suddenly you realize it IS about gettin a duck in close and givin him a little sumthin' sumthin' from the ol 12 gauge! If you still don't believe you are interested in killing a duck at all, then i will be looking for your gun and shells on the classifieds this afternoon. Cause...I AM A DUCK KILLER!

I think some of you are missing MSDUCKMAN's point.. If you think you need all that stuff to kill a duck then your missing out on a true part of hunting. Pitting your self against the elements and game without all the commerialized gadgets. You know the way they did it 50 years ago. Some people enjoy going out and buying the latest and greatest toy others enjoy doing it the old fashion way.. Now never having met MSDUCKMEN I can't speak for him, but I think this is part of his philosophy. But MSDUCKMEN feel free to correct me if I am wrong..

Good point cwink. i had not looked at it that way. However I ain't much of a gadget man either. Regular dekes, boat, dog, and gun is all i own. I think they had all that stuff 50 years ago.

OMG people. You only see what you want to see. What duckmen was saying is the water swatting, any animal killing duck commander sometimes doesn't represent what some of us would call a "sportsman." I don't see anywhere where he bashed your idol and said he doesn't believe in killing ducks. Do you? Show me if so. Of course duckmen and others like killing ducks, just not muskrats, blackbirds and any other type of animal that comes around. Talk about fuel for the anti's. "It's all about the memories with a few ducks mixed in" says the hunter, "yeah and every other animal that walks, flies or swims by, just look at that dc guy", says the anti. I am sorry but anyone who shoots tweetie birds and muskrats, etc don't belong in my duck blind, much less blowjos. I am sorry if it offends you and I know the dc can blow a call but I haven't bought a video of his in a few years but I know the last one I did buy had cool music, duck head biting, SKY BUSTING, random animal killing and mojos to suit the desire of even the mojoest of mojo lovers. Show me some huntin'. No wonder new guys think duck hunting is so kewl. It is a sport for kewl people only.

Phil went from being "the man" to being "the cartoon." It was his choice. I love to kill ducks more than anyone I know, and way more than is probably mentally healthy, or socially accepted. And even I get embarrased watching Phil's stuff now.

Anyone who thinks Dan Moulder does not not know what he is doing, or cannot kill ducks with the best of them, is pretty much showing their own profound ignorance. He sticks to his own code of ethics, and won't stray from them. That scares and annoys some folks. I am not sure why. Dan is one of the most ethical sportsmen I have ever met, and I have tremendous respect for that. Randy Dennis is right there, too.

If all you care about is being a KILLER, there are a lot of tamie shoots that are ready when you are. Y-farms will sell you all you want for $8.00 a bird. Go get you a crate of farm ducks and get your rocks off. But despite all the "killers" who love to talk smack, I betcha that ain't really who you want to be in the A.M. when you look in the mirror.

Peace out.

This ain't got shat to do with Phil R. anymore. There is no other hunter more ethical than I for you that might question my ethics because " i like to kill ducks. " Oh and by the way, good luck trying to catch me killing a blackbird or muskrat in the duck blind just because. Or better yet, a tamie. My personal code of ethics is also non negotiable. Also i don't know Dan M and i am sure he is more of a duck hunter than i will ever be. But don't sit here and give me some o holier than thou BS because i ain't afraid to say that i like to kill every duck that comes in my spread, and say that killing ducks aint important to you. And how dare someone judge my relationship with God because of it. I kill every duck that i legally, and more importantly, ethically can. And i eat everyone i Kill. Obviously some skipped the read that i like other things about duck hunting than killing too. It is way too hard to get people to see your point of view on the dang puter. Perhaps I didn't communicate well in my posts. Think i'll go talk to myself in the mirror. Cause i do it every A.M. with no regrets.

I'm out

Calm down sweetheart, calm down. Nobody said they do not like killing ducks and it isn't important. Nobody said they are holier than thou, you said they said that. Nobody said SPECIFICALLY you like to kill random animals and tamies. Nobody questioned your code of ethics. Nobody...questioned your relationship with God. No posts had your name in them so basically...your whole post is irrelevant to anything. C'mon man your putting your own self in these posts that we make, not us. What about them deals eh?
