Anyone know where the best pirce is on the Browning?

Thanks to kenneth lister for the tip. I drove to Birmingham yesterday and picked up a spotless (no nicks or scratches) X2 in black synthetic for $475. They had a few left in 26 and 28" barrells and have no problem shipping them if need be. They had the exact same gun, with noticable wear, on the used counter marked at $599.

My Browning Gold has been running circles around Benellis for 6 years....must clean any auto to the guts after every hard hunt IMO.

Must clean??? I clean my gun after every season - once a year and no problems. I have a Beretta Pintail.

My Gold has been running circles around Benellis for a decade. I clean it before duck season every year, and shoot clays with it the rest of the year. Runs like a charm. Even after spending the better part of the day submerged in saltwater and muck in Katrina.

SBE dominates. I've shot Remington, Winchester, Browning and Benelli fits me like a glove. They are all decent guns, but the SBE's truly pimp.
