Just to be clear, I wasn't calling you a retard....what I meant was some folks are acting as if Wallace is a retard and a complete joke of a qb that had no business whatsover being near the Conerly.

Here's what I think - the voters recognized this OM went 2-10 last year, didn't win a freaking game in the SEC, we're picked last by everyone....Wallace came in and started every game and was a huge reason why this team didn't do what everyone expected them to do, which was be terrible.

Like I said, Russell is dang good but he didn't play Georgia, Texas or Vandy. Instead he got Kentucky, Tennesse and Troy. 4 of Wallaces picks came against Georgia and Texas. So if Russell had that many and had to play the same teams Wallace did, I wouldn't care if he beat out Moncrief....but Wallace beat out Banks and I sure as hell don't have a problem with that. Banks got burned left and right after he got away from the cream puffs.

Bottom line is that there was NO clear cut winner this year. Could have gone either way... About a third of the people who voted for Conerly winner turned their vote in prior to Egg Bowl. I think 50 votes total equally distributed across the state amongst all the 4 year colleges regions.

Seriously? UTEP and Tulane have a combined 5 wins between them and UCA has only been a D-1 school for 6 years. With the exception of Texas, TSUN hasn't exactly had a tough non-conference schedule themselves.
