for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

Slow 22 all day wet cold rain birds would look but not come in. 127 for 3 days best opener we ever had. Everyone pleased, and the food was great. Good luck to everyone next weekend. Big cold front may send more our way. :)

Got to hunt with both of my son's Friday morning, never pulled a triger. That afternoon we took my wife on her first duck hunt was a great time no ducks again. Great memories made just no ducks to shoot at.

3-man limits all 3 days. Asia, one of Delta's pups owned by Merinisco, , did a fine job.

Motor wouldn't start Friday afternoon, called a buddy to bring a boat/motor, blown bearings at 0300 Sat in Yazoo City. We had to paddle in on Sat morning, (I had a customer with me...oh boy. We got set up at 0530 Sat and killed 3 limits by 0700. Mallards, gadwalls and woodies. Fought the rain Sunday, 3 men got 9. They stopped flying at about 0830. Damn good weekend.
I ain't hunting, it's a tailgate party with shotguns.

Never fired a shot Friday morning. Slept in Sat due to erroneous forecast whle my buddies got two limits by 7:45. Went back Sunday inthe rain and four of us shot 21...gads and mallards. Cold and wet but very much worth it!..

Overall not pleased. Opening morning was good. Shot 6/8, then had to leave for an emergency. Next day sucked ass, hunted by myself... birds wouldn't act right, had to move 3 times, shot 1. Sunday took my 3 year old, just me & him. He lasted an hour in the blowing cold, wind & rain. Ended up with 3. The only thing that made it enjoyable was that it was his first hunt with me during the regular season. As a whole, I'd say my opening weekend was a failure. :?
Eff it... river this weekend. Gonna be good to get back to hunting with my old crew.
