heck, I just broke down and bought two. I had an older version of itunes that we used to update ipod touches with. Naturally, that version will not work with the ipads. I installed itunes 10.5 and it won't recognized the Ipads. I have no freakin idea what to do now. this stuff pisses me off to no end. I want to download the pics, music and apps that are in my current library to the ipads.

thats miy biggest problem with any of the apple products. cant upgrade to larger unless you by a bigger one.

We have an ipad and the new kindle fire.. I like the fire just as much as the ipad.. Will be buying 2 more of the kindle fire for Christmas.

The ONLY thing I know about Ipads is that male robots hate to buy them for their wives! lol

Don't know how old your boys are, but you might want to try to get them interested in the ipod touch instead, if they don't have them already. It will do everything the wifi ipad2 will, just smaller size. Even has cameras on the front and back and they start at around $199 vs. $499 for ipad2. We have an ipad and our two oldest kids love it, but they each have their own ipod touches and love them just as much. GREAT on road trips!
