The video has been re-posted in High-DefinitionIt took me awhile to figure out how to upload HD but now you can see the deer much better.
Here's what to do:
When the video comes up, click "Fullscreen" on the bottom right. THEN, click that number 360 you see on the bottom right also. Change that quality to 720p HD. Enjoy.

Even better. Oh how I wish the camera would have been on that skillethead when she got smoked. I think that muzzle break is the business and would help alot of people. Especially since it doesn't increase the noise. Atleast that is what I've heard. No pun intended. Now you need a 338 Norma or Edge.

Blake, does the 7wsm have a greater likelihood of reducing barrel life than a caliber such as the 7stw?

Barrel life for a short mag should be pretty good. Better than a reg mag and much better than STW and RUM. More powder and smallish bullet equal shorter life usually. The more overbore the less the barrel life. All other things being equal, such as not over heating too bad and such. That is why the 308, 6ppc, 6BRX, 30-06 all have long barrel life.
http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/200 ... efinition/Here is a good article on overbore and what it means. It isn't exact science but for the most part it isn't a surprise that the most historically accurate rounds are in the first tier of the chart. 6ppc, 308, 223, ect.

Exactly... You reduce barrel life as you go UP in powder charge/velocity and/or DOWN in the diameter (caliber) of the bullet.
Barrel Life Example:
6.5x.284 is good for approximately 500 rounds
.308 is good for approximately 5000
