This will NOT be a Blowout !!!

Auburn should or could have lost 5 games !!!

MissSt almost won
Clem got 2 "questionable" bad calls and Aub won
SC had the game won, and then fumbled twice late in 4th quarter
Ky played VERY close and had a chance to win
Ark was ROBBED on 2 terrible calls while the game was still winable

LSU was preparing for Aub the week before the McNeese game

Take LSU +6

Remember Aub is not at full scholarship because of the many player departures during the coaching change. And Aub is "Beat-up" after mulitiple "tough" games.

I can't say that LSU will win outright,,,, but it will be a CLOSE game.

God Bless you
Make time to PRAY ! God has given us so much. Thank him.

Quit your whining.... Good Grief, is this the ladies auxiliary picnic or what....??

Line up and take your shots at Auburn. All the while we will be taking you down on the field.

Auburn 30
LSU 23

Newton as a dual treat QB is unstoppable. LSU is exposed and out coached.

i think this is where where the wheels come off for the tigs and cam newton has a great game that puts him as the front runner for the hiesman.

I agree with Champcaller, I don't think it will even be close. I could be wrong but I think LSU is the worst top 10 team I have seen since MSU stint several years ago. Only thing is MSU team defense was heads and tales better than todays LSU defense.

I don't deny that Auburn wins the game for a number of factors...homefield, day game, LSU has won three in a row, Cam Newton, etc...but the above quote is obviously made by someone who has (1) not watched much of LSU, (2) does not know about the NFL talent on LSUs defense, and (3) is incredibly bias.

I have heard several commentators mention that every starting player for LSUs current defense, and many in the two-deep, will at least get a shot in the NFL, with several being very high picks (Top 2 Rounds) in the NFL (Peterson, Shepard and Nevis) this year.

MSU had a great defense, but to say that they were as good, much less heads and tales better is simply laughable. Athletically, outside of Smoot, there is simply no comparison.

Fella,
I will give you some credibility predicting a loss to Alabama, just because of the rivalry and all the hype that is involved in that game.

LSU will be a great game, but more of a defensive struggle than the high scoring shoot out that we had last week.

Ole Miss doesn't have enough offense to keep up with the Steam Roller.

Peace out

well here it is........ either way..... i have to suck at life this weekend. i feel that it would be better for bama(a one loss team for aubutt to be undefeated when they come to t town) than lsu in the first weekend of november. i can only hope that some of the undefeated teams has lost by then and the butt is still undefeated and bama is somewhere around 3-4 by then and can jump em after a win. sooooo........

have fun with this hole digger.......

but im cheerin for the eagles.

As a sidenote to the prediction thread, I have never seen so many national pundits pick one team over the other in a match-up of Top 10 teams. I have literally only seen one pundit (Lou Holtz) pick LSU to win out of listening to dozens of predictions. As we know, Lou is typically wrong, so his prediction doesn't make me feel any better. I think a couple of things are givens: (1) If LSU loses they will drop dramatically in the polls....like maybe into the 20s because nobody respects them, and (2) if LSU wins a close one, I still don't think they will get much respect headed into a home game against Bama in two weeks.

By the way, I still think AU wins by a TD or more...

Gobama123, how did that prediction work out for you?

It was the best defensive game Auburn has played this season. Auburn's defensive front was dominant and the secondary tackled much better on Saturday. I'm excited that Auburn is number 1 in the BCS poll, but that has been a dangerous spot the past few weekends. I think we are still improving as a team and hopefully our best football is still ahead.
