I finaly got it to work

yup... between me and joey we got it to work today too... he's almost as computer illiterate as I am, but at least hes got a credit card! ha. all mine but ones in and it should be in tonight. now, someone wanna give me directions now or that friday night about 9 oclock? ha. travis

Take I-55 South towards Jackson, MS. When you get to Ridgeland, take I-220 to south Jackson/Clinton and go west on I-20 or get on the Natchez Trace and get off at the Vicksburg/I-20 west exit. Take I-20 west to exit #4/Downtown Vicksburg exit (you will see signs on the interstate advertising for the Battlefield Inn). The road you are now on is Clay Street. Once you are on Clay Street the Battlefield Inn will be 1/4 of a mile on your right; you can't miss it!

The next morning get back on Clay Street (come out of the Battlefield Inn and go left/east) and get back on I-20 east. You will go 1/2 mile and will need to be in the left hand lane to get on highway 61 north. If by chance you miss the I-20 exit off of Clay Street, if you keep going east on Clay Street one mile you will come to an intersection where the Beechwood Restaurant and Lounge is on your left and a Texaco is on your right. If you take a left at that light you are on highway 61 north. It is the only big intersection that has a left hand turn lane if I am correct.

Ok, go approximately 25 miles on highway 61 to Mahannah WMA/Flowery Road turn in on your left. The check in station will be on the right hand side once you enter the WMA.

If you want to come you better enter today. We probably can't add another finished flight.

i bet i can put battlefield inn in vicksburgy in my nu-new and it'll find it. sweet, needed a town and hotel, so I guessin Im set.

Travis when ya take the Clay st Exit youwill have to turn right on the frontage rd to get to the Battlefield Inn....(when you are comin down the exit you will be lookin at the hotel)....the turn for the frontage rd is right across from the hampton inn....easy to find

I think there is a sign pointing to turn for the Battlefield Inn. Plus, once you get off on Exit 4 and get onto Clay Street, it is the first right turn you come to. You can't miss it.

Travis, I will give you the street addys for Battlefield Inn and Mahanna. Anyway, I will be there Friday nite to make sure you don't get lost.

Had to do some traveling this morning and took the exit 4B West Clay Street/Downtown Vicksburg. As you take the exit you will see brown signs stating "National Battlefield Park" next right. As you take the exit, you will be looking directly at the Battlefield Inn. You can also see the frontage road that you will have to take. Ok, as you start to come onto West Clay street the very first sign is a yellow one with a street light on it to notify you that a street light is ahead. The second sign/signs are side by side and one is for the Battlefield Inn and the other is for Motel 6 with arrows pointing to the right to let you know to turn right. As you approach the Frontage Road there is a large green sign stating "Frontage Road". This is the very first right hand turn you come to once you get onto West Clay Street.

I promise that NO ONE can miss it.
