Are you saying every Catholic will give up crawfish for Lint?

Its been my experience that crawfish come down in price after Lint for some reason or another. We usually cook at least 250-350 pounds through out the season but we always wait till after lint too start. Trust me....

they come down after LENT because Catholics dont eat meat on Fridays during LENT, so Crawfish = many a fridays meals for your South LA, South Mississippi Catholics, so the sellers wont drop the price with such a large demand on the crawfish.....then LENT is done equaling cheaper prices and then water begins to heat and making the Crawfish tuff dropping consumption more, and the price drops again.
Just to run a little survey..how many of youll would be willing to pre buy some crawfish if you had someone willing to carry them up...I got friend in the crawfish business that could hook me up, also I can get all the shrimp you can eat....may be looking to supplement a little income this year to help negate my losses from Katrina....I quarantee I can beat any price you kind find up there Im just not wanting to go pettle on the side of the road..

Lent = 40 days of sacrifice or change between MardiGras and Easter
Lint = fuzzy stuff in Bigwaters bellybutton

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to make that distinction

Bay, I would be interested in both the crawfish and the shrimp. How close could you deliver to me ---I live in Chickasay County just off the Natchez Trace, about 20 miles south of Tupelo. And I have a craving for some boiled crawfish and shrimp.

Bay Kingfisher:
Pm me with some info on your crawfish buddy. I'm starting a crawfish gig this year and hopefully if everything goes well,

I'll need a bunch. I'm in southwest AL.
thanks,
