Richmond would have played behind Tunsil this year and taken over in fall of 16 as the staring LT...so it will hurt more after this year when Laremy Tunsil goes to the draft and we either have to go to a true freshman LT or move a player not a natural LT.
You know better than I, but I have been told that Richmond was penciled in as a starter, day one, in Oxford somewhere on the line. They were going to play him like they played Tunsil...i.e., he is too good to sit on the sideline, so even if we have to play him at guard, he is going to play.

what exactly does the writing on the wall say? I can't seem to read it from here.

I viewed him as a solid OL prospect who could develop into a two-deep SEC quality OL in 2-3 years. IMO, he is not a Laremy Tunsil.

For example, I think that Austrian Robinson is as good of an OT prospect as Richmond. And who says that Patterson or Rod Taylor can't play at OT? Or Liggins( he will likely be moved there this spring)?

We have a good bit of time until the 2016 season to find a replacement for Tunsil ( and that assumes that Tunsil goes pro after his junior year) ---- either an existing roster player steps up (most likely), or we sign a juco, transfer, or immediate impact frosh between now and then. At this point in time, I am not worried.
ehhhhh...I think the fact OM coaches stopped recruiting all tackle prospects when they thought Richmond was solid is a pretty good indication they didn't think he was a depth OL. He's a 5* tackle and a starting LT at any level of college football, if not as a freshman, definitely a RS Fresh or soph

Hey Po Monk... Austrian Robinson is listed by Scout as an OT and he is listed by Rivals as a DE. I read a lot more Rivals than Scout, so I was wondering what you were talking about? LOL

Judging by Freeze press conference, I'd guess Robinson is in fact a DL player and not an OL. He did say he was moving Liggins to tackle...

nothing I've seen has leaned to Bama

CeCe has, in past, publicly denied AND confirmed the package deal with Cowart/Holland was in works (my opinion it was if they went to Floriday but he wasn't going elsewhere just to be with those other players)...but he's also said Muschamp was his only real tie to Auburn and Auburn never intimated they felt strongly about signing him

A lot of sources at Ole Miss are confident Ole Miss had the parents and CeCe was telling OM coaches he was coming as late as Tuesday midday but local pressure and a presumed agreement for Cowart/Holland/Jefferson to all go to Florida changed things Tuesday night...

obviously lot of that didn't happen and here we are...who knows
