Alabama is not considered a rival for Ole Miss because the Rebels have won like 5 games in the last 100 against the Tide. Also the reason for storming the field after the win this year.

Against Ms State Ole Miss is 45-20-4 against State with a lot of States wins coming in last few years. A lot of the younger folks probably see State as a rival now due to them beating our booty the last few years. As an old fart nearing 50 my hatred for LSU has grown for years and with each lose to Ms State the hatred is growing closer.
Not trying to hijack the thread Nutmeg but the on field record of state vs Ole miss 59-45-6 in Ole Miss favor! Plus state holds the largest win in the series at 65-0 and also the longest winning streak at 13 in a row!
By all means, hijack it, since you have the correct numbers.

I could see an interception return for a TD being the winning points. Regardless I think whoever wins will do so by a TD or less. IMO I see "Bad Bo" showing back up with the frustration of not moving the ball well and LSU wins it.
as the weeks go by, the Bad Bo media narrative is becoming more and more stupid...his numbers are as good as anyone in college football and half of his mistakes weren't even "Bad Bo" they were missed assignments and broken parts of plays the resulted in Bo being intercepted and him shouldering the load. He's had exponentially more good plays than bad...no reason to think he's gonna turn into something he is proving he is not against a middle of the conference defense...

Of course night games in the SEC on the road (especially baton Rouge) don't usually follow logic, so whatever, might implode...I sorta kinda expect the unexplained to occur...
BB showed up tonight!!!

That one was on Freeze. You go for the FG.

The call was for a 10 and out or throw the ball away if nothing is there then kick the field goal but Bo got a greedy and took a shot down field that cost them.. The look on Freezes face when he threw that ball downfield says it all!!! I don't think that was to bad of a call considering you have a freshman kicker kicking a 47 yd field goal in death valley.. That all falls back on Bro Ballace and if I was the head coach I wouldn't be starting a qb I couldn't trust!!

I agree with that 100%. The coaching staff didn't send out the field goal unit until it was too late. That delay of game penalty is on Freeze and crew.

If we follow this logic then Freeze needs to ride the pine right beside ole Bo next week. It's the coaching staffs fault that the kicking unit was not sent in immediately and the delay of game penalty occurred.

With 9 seconds on the clock and a freshman kicker I would have run one more play without the delay of game. Of course had Bo made the same decision the outcome would have been the same. He chose to not follow the coaches play call and took the opportunity of the field goal away from the entire team.
