I griped and complained all week (my wife is a witness) that the "we believe 8-0" crap was doing nothing but fueling Bama's fire and getting them more focused. It was exciting for the fans but you don't give the #1 team in the country something to get motivated about. Hopefully the beatdown we received will shut that crap up. We are not a national or SEC contender yet.
I have been saying all year (go back and read my posts) that we were not that good because we barely beating teams that we should have dominated by 40+ points. We have no all SEC caliber linebackers or defensive ends and it was painfully obvious that Banks is not 100%.
If we can win 2 of the last 4 and go to a nice bowl then all State fans should be happy. That is a great season for us.
