No maroon glasses here. I have been a state fan far too long to expect anything more than what just took place. I was scared all week that this would happen, mullens stock took a dip woth me terrible clock management, I would have tried a quick pass, then followed with a run to end the game. We are doing what we do best blowing it all, I forsee a 3 win season.

I felt disappointed only because I expected to Miss State win. This is a break from the days of Maine beating us. It was frustrating to watch because I know we are better than what we saw.

Did Miss State overlook Auburn? Maybe. Can Mullen use this game as teaching opportunity to coach up the squad? You're darn straight he will! He will make this memory hurt and bring the pain in practice. You'll see a sharper team going into LSU.
