I have had several and for the money, the cyclops can't be beat unless you go HID. I want to make a HID headlamp and may try it soon.

that blue eye beam plug in from bassproshops is pretty good! I bought one for this year and it doesn't put off much glare at all and does pretty well in fog

smaller light is better for fog and not running your battery down too bright of a light you cant see on the water as good

supertac flahlight....fits in coat pocket...puts out a beam like a milion candlepower light

TIP: Mount your hand-held light of choice atop a 5' piece of 1" PVC piping to elevate the light beam. This will 1.) help reduce the projected shadows in front of the boat from passengers and gear, 2.) prevent the blinding of said passengers, and 3.) eliminate arm fatigue from holding said light.
