I have the Rock Island Armory 1911...Its ok but the sights suck on it

i've got a taurus PT1911, and i have had several 1911's that cost alot more and were not as well equipt or accurate. great gun for the money.
wish it had the picatinny rail, and better original grips i have no complaints with the sights except i wish they were tritium, i swapped original grips for the crimson trace laser grips (CTLG),
FYI that thing(CTLG) is frustrating on a 1911, got to clean the lenses every 20 rounds or so, and takes forever to get it right

My brother just picked up a Colt Defender with after market grips at Academy Sports of all places.
Sweet gun, I shot it for the first time yesterday. Got me itching to find one for my self.
I got a Walter PK380 on Friday and love it.
Yesterday was pistol shootin' day.
