Re: Choke tube problem
If none of these suggestions work try getting an ease out that will fit good and tight in the choke. Set your barrel in a table vise and get to work! I had to do this with a buddies gun after I let it sit in pb blaster for a week. It worked fine and did not booger the threads!!!

Sometimes they just won't come out! You said the magic words in your statement "hand tightened" cause it was working out. You must use a quality lube on these chokes. I use white lithium. They must be tight especially if you shoot steel thru it. This needs to be checked quite often. Every couple of trips the tube needs to come out, be cleaned and relubed. If you shoot a choke with it loose it will pull the threads on the inside. When this happens, even if you do get it out most likely the threads will come out with it and it will be ruined anyhow. If you do get it out but it's feels tight even after it's cleaned, DO NOT PUT THAT CHOKE BACK IN THE GUN! Throw it away and get a new one. A 30 or 40 dollar choke is a hell of a lot than a 400 dollar barrel! The hot oil treatement or the kroils are both excellent starts. Hot kroils is prolly the best penetrant. Heat will always help. Most every step mentioned here will work depending on how stuck it really is. But if it's really bad or the threads are pulled, it aint comin out. Benelli's are notorious for this with aftermarket chokes in them. Good luck!
