I drive an extra cab long wheel base chevy so length is not an issue for me......and yes, that's what she said.

I agree. I would alot rather pull a trailer than haul in the back of the truck. With a trailer you can throw stuff in the bed of truck and have 4wheeler on trailer. Just my .02

trailers can be a royal PITA. 2 extra tires to maintain, wheel bearings yadda yadda yadda. not to mention place to store the trailer when not used, yadda yadda yadda. not everybody has the option to use a trailer.

On the other hand, I can't stand driving an ATV up on a set of ramps. Then again I got umpteen trailers in the pasture too.

Moral of the reply is that not everyone has the option or luxury or owning a trailer. Being he's asking about fitting in the bed of a truck, I'm guessing he doesn't have that option or doesn't want the added expense of a trailer.

I have an 08 crew cab with no toolbox. I can't close the tailgate with any of my bikes. I have a honda rubricon and a can am 800. Both fit good with tailgate down.

i have a 02 ford f150 supercrew with the 5.5 ft bed.. i have the slim crossbox and my 95 foremen will fit upagainst the tool box and rear tires on the tailgate... i did buy a bed extender to park the rear tires of wheeler on so i have little bed left for coolers and such.. it makes it squat a lot in the back with the extender in though... not real bad with out...

i have a trailer i use most of the time but that knocks my mpg's way way down...
