Re: Underground Electric Fence
I have a privacy fence but bought the sport dog before I finished it to keep them in. It has a good range. I just ran the wire along the bottom two by four. I have it between the road and my house so when I am home they can roam around two acres. I went about a year with the collar off then one day they realized it and dug out. Its the best piece of mind to me cause they can always dig out. When you have as much as I have in my dogs 200 bucks is a no brainer. I hooked a deal behind my atv that dug a small trench just under the grass then put the dirt and grass back over the wire. I dont know that I would feel safe with just the underground cause no matter how much electricity if there is something the dog wants more it would have to literally lay them out. I may would look into a kennel and underground fence where atleast you dont have to worry while your gone.
