Did you read the part about being paid to pump? That's what's being discussed, not doing it for kicks and giggles.

All seriousness, understand these guys would be offered payment.. Im not shooting down the plan at all. I am for anything to help the migration for these birds. I was merely raising points that may arise from some farmers. In my opinion.

Very few people are going to do it for the sake of saving the planet. We already know this.

The Paw-n-law and I are trying to find out more about this. I've got to go to FSA tomorrow, maybe I can get some info, there. Friday we where told, Flooding before Nov.15= $50/ac, After Nov.15= $25/ac. Would like to find out more about details. I would consider flooding everything I can.
