Until you pull the trigger in the freezin rain and it goes click, click, click. I got a buddy that has been shooting an older1187 for years. He sprays the action down with carb cleaner and sprays it out with air, shoots everytime.

I had one several years ago, never had any problems with the action but I didnt like the feel of the gun. The forearm was too thick, felt like I was holdin a stick of pulpwood in my left hand, weighed about the same too. Ended up gettin a benelli, that was ten years ago and I've still got it, it's the shizit!

I bought one years ago. the 11-87 sp 3 1/2" model. it was a jam-0-matic. I sold it for about a 350 dollar loss a year later and bought an SBE. I never clean my gun during duck season. i might knock the rust off of it. but i usually only clean my shot gun once a year between duck and turkey season. The SBE is a way better cycling gun IMO.
never had any issues with the SBE.
