I know where this is going. Good analogy Jeff-ro.

Personally, the rice breast doesnt, bother me. In college it was feast or famine, so we kind of got used to it. Once cooked, you cant tell the difference. Tell the puzzys that are scared to eat it to go inside and fix some lemonade while your cleaning them and they will never know.

OKay let me make my point for those that won't awnser. IF you have eaten speckeled trout, considered by most to be better than crappie for table fare, you HAVE eaten worms. Where is the difference?

If it is something that scientific evidnece shows won't hurt you why not eat it? My theory has ALWAYS been, if I kill it I am going to eat it period. By pulling the trigger on a duck you are taking it's life. If you don't eat it, is that fair to the duck you killed? I say it's not. If you agree, either you should eat it or quit duck hunting. Because you are going to kill ducks with rice breast occasionally. You either eat them or you shouldn't have killed the duck in my opinion. A strong opinion yes it is.

Usually, there is no externally visible sign of this disease
nor is it recognized as a direct cause of migratory bird mortality.
Severe infections can cause loss of muscle tissue and
result in lameness, weakness, and even paralysis in rare cases.
The debilitating effects of severe infections could increase
bird susceptibility to predation and to other causes of mortality.

Like the article says, in some cases, you may be doing the duck a favor by killing it cause it could cause muscle tissue to die and could cause paralysis causing the duck a painful death by skunk or other Predator. You could be doing the duck a favor, THAT'S my opinion, and a strong opinion it is!!

Whine,whine,whine,whine,whine.

That's what we call "Pickin fly $#!+ out of pepper".

Think about it!!
You ever opened up an old chocolate bar with something in it?
Do you think flour, sugar,or any other processed food is pure.

Just eat and enjoy
