I got some of that deal too. Never used them before but hope they work well. Gonna be kinda hard to crack the seal on that Phil Robertson Collector's Box they're in.

i bought 2 boxes of them last year and trust me dont waste your money.. The pattern on em is terrible and the kents i shoot hit em just as hard..

Don't think you can't get a bad box of Kents. I bought a case that had probably a dozen shells that barely got the shot out of the barrel.
I could poot louder than those shots.
I shoot Hevi shot and HD 99.9% of the time but I couldn't pass up the 30% off last week. Bought 6 cases!

I've had the same problem out of Kents before. Had to use a stick to get the wad out of my barrell on about half of a box of shells. Not saying I ever buy high dollar shells, just got this round of black cloud cause they were $15 a box. Hell thats cheaper than Kent anyday.

"shot just as good as the expensive hevi shot" you have lost your mind or either you have not shot Hevi Shot or Remington HD.
There is definitely a difference in effective killing range, ability to shoot smaller shot size thus a tigher pattern and still be able to shoot farther than steel no matter what brand.

I can cleanly kill more ducks with a 20 guage shooting Hevi Shot, than a 12 with Kents....shot the Kents all last year till a friend proved the 20 was just as deadly with HS.

i have had problems with kents not firing but i think some mositure had got to them. i honestly believe there good you just have to be very carefully the lease little mositure maes them mis fire. there ok if you boat hunt never put them in your wader bag though lol. i perfer dryloc. not sure about experts. never tried them i know there like 5 or 6 a box cheaper. i just believe you get what you pay for.

i'm gonna echo on the kents. Buying them by the case, the only thing cheaper is expert. However, I've never really heard anything good about the experts. People always say they have cuts on the bbs that will ruin the barrel and your chokes. I have no idea if this is true, I just stay away from them.
Here recently me and my huntin buddy have been pattering our shot guns and we have come to the realization that kent 2 shot is what we are going to be using from here on out......unless of course something cheaper comes about.
For the money though, in our pattern testing Remington Sportsman High Speed Steel is a really really good shot, better than the kent. it is just more expensive.

I liked the black clouds, didn't like paying for them. I, prefer the Kent's, but hard to find in my local area. Estate's are the norm around here, but I really just don't like them. I got some pattering to do and going to sample all that I might buy and see which one works best for my gun and choke set up...
