Get-n-rite, all those shots and sizes are great, but please, those shots are great for them because that is what there gun shoots the best. Make sure you pattern your gun!!! VERY IMPORTANT in finding the right Shot and Size!! I shoot 2 3/4 or 3" #4's They shoot best out of my gun!
In my opinion, that 3 1/2 crap is just overkill. I would suggest the black cloud brand, VERY EXPENSIVE but i've seen that stuff do some CRAZY CHIT!!!

#2's to bb for field hunting. #4 if shooting hevishot (i love hevi shot). #4 steel is like girl pee shooting passing shots. I hate steel. TOO MANY CRIPPLES. I have seen hundreds of birds knocked for a loop only to keep on flying. You shoot one with lead or hevishot and see what happens. You will move the bird out of his projected flight path. BOOM!

My gun doesn't shoot 3 1/2's and even if it did I wouldn't buy them. I probably should pattern my gun, but I haven't patterned it since I bought it and that was 12 years ago. So this weekend I am going to see what kind of pattern I am getting.
As for kents. I have shot them for 4 years and I haven't had any problems but I shoot an 870 SP, so not much can go wrong. I figure its like this. Let the birds Get Rite and it probably won’t matter what you shoot.

4's, 5's and 6's in Hevi-Shot, just depends on what is on sale. I prefer the 6's. In steel I tend to lean toward #3's.

3" #3's. I also think 3 1/2" is a waste, since for the most part a 3" shell will pattern better.
