MM,
I THINK that most Americans would say that they have enough pride in their country that they would be willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for it and what it stands for and to protect their mothers and fathers and brothers and sisters I think I have that pride. I KNOW, however, that most of us will be sitting at home through this ordeal. My friend, the rest of you are a very special few who have been given not only a pride, but also a tremendous passion to see it through. I thank you for you commitment to us and for your bravery, and I pray for you through your fears. For, without fear, it is not a brave thing that you do.

You and yours will be in the thoughts and prayers of me and mine. May God bless you and keep you and may the rest of us strive to be like you!

Just found out yesterday that our country needs me....with almost 10 years of duty with the Mississippi Air National Guard, I finally got the call. Don't know when or where, but I'm going. I promise ya'll that I won't let you, our State, or the country down.
