All the models are pretty consistent.. That makes it pretty scary..

close to the same path as gustav. I'm keeping my skirting off and leaving the boards up just in case.

although the NHC has it not hitting the LA coast, I still don't like how most of the computer models still have it coming into LA.

I heard at 11 that they are predicting now it will come ashore somewhere between Houston and Galveston.

3 right into the Port of Corpus Christi...
I talked to my Mom last night.. She said if it comes thier way they are going to drive inland about 2 hours and wait it out then drive back into town..
It has been 28 years since a Hurricane has hit Corpus.. Things are not the same as they used to be.. Everything we have is designed to run on Electricity now. I tried to explain this to her.. But she doesn't get it..

11PM updates aren't looking good for the family down that way. tell them to start preparing now.

Saw that last night.. Gonna get them on the move Thursday should it stay course.. The best scenario would be Mexico.. Then the next best scenario would be to go about 50 miles North of the Mexico border. That would put it going in between Kingsville and Harlingen.. That is all King Ranch and there are more Cows there than People..
