I have know Tim since I was a young boy, he was a regular at the fair cabin. From what little details that I have been able to find out, he was pulling his shotgun from the seat of the truck with the barrel facing him an it fired. I will let you guys know more when I find out.

This is pretty much all I've been able to find out as well. This is a terrible terible thing guys & so so easy to avoid! You owe it to yourself & your family to take absolutely every precaution when handling a firearm!
It is very easy to take a risk, but just not worth the gamble!
I'm probably preaching to the Choir here, but just wanted to reiderate the danger in taking shortcuts.
