BAY KINGFISHER,
I worked in Bay St. Louis and Waveland after Katrina for 5 months with the clean up. I lived at Stennis for 2 months. I arrived 11 days after the storm and I could not believe the distruction. The people of Bay St. Loius were extremely kind and I hated to leave it to go to New Orleans for another 12 months of clean up. How is BSL now? We used to go to this country store every morning for breakfast(I can't remember the name ,but it was the only store open for 2 months until the shell opened. i remember a boat at the window of Burger King drive.AMAZING Hope everybody in this area is back up and running. I miss the people, always asking us if we needed anything when they had lost everything. Good Luck

slowly, but surely the Bay is taking it one day at a time...the storm has proven how important good leadership at the local level is needed, well we wont mention anymore about that....
we still dont have the beach road built back permately, insurance problems are killing us, corps buy-out programs scaring the shart out of folks, etc etc....but overall the resolve of the city is strong, but lots of people still suffering and needing help. the charm of the Bay is not back, and its still pretty ugly but we all keep on grinding on..
the store was the Corner Market on Old Spanish Trail, I live down the street, my friends mother in law owns it...

Posted means posted...stay out of my marsh!

Just stay in your boat and you will be ok. You can't post public waters in MS. Just don't go hunt any land-locked ponds...

Were those signs towards the mouth of the river on the east side? I heard someone started a lease there. I hunted over there opening weekend and did not notice any shooting over that way.
