Anywhere north of Vicksburg is good. Stay away from Southwest Mississippi there are no ducks down here dammit only coots. :wink:

Very good complex of wetlands habitat. Big expanse of natural flooding as well.

Tally's one of the lowest spots in the Delta isn't it? That would explain the amount of habitat.

Actually, Issaquena county would be the lowest spot...about 100 feet lower in elevation than Tallahatchie. :wink:

There are very few levee systems in place up here, hence the flooding that makes ideal habitat.

Typically, the land right next to the foot of the hills is lower than what's on the natural ridge along the MS River. Look on a topo map and you will see that the land next to the hills is lower than that west of it and closer to the River.

I think Quitman should have more, but not many people here have phones so they can't call in the bands. :lol:
