When I was your age, back home there was square bales and watermelons in the field. You know how we got them out of the fields?
Worked our hind end off everyday of summer.
That's why I don't eat watermelon to this day......

While going to NWCC I moved dirt for contractors out of Memphis. Went to ole miss cooked at a steak house. Finished up a Delta State I leveled land for more dirt movers. If you are good on a tractor there is always work. Pay is not bad either.

I grew up on a farm and I don't so much mind eating watermelon but I aint' never hauling another bale of hay! PERIOD!

i have been cutting down trees, trimming limbs, any other job i can find with my chainsaw, and it has made me some good money so far this summer. Of course you have to buy the chainsaw. I love to do it.

join the Army National Guard ---this is how I earned extra money in college ---initially spent 4 months at Fort Knox, Kentucky in basic training/advanced training ---thereafter one weekend per month and a 2 week summer camp ----after 3 years as an enlisted soldier, I went through OCS and earned a commission as an officer ----pay was pretty good for the time spent ----- got in shape and had a lot of fun
also worked at Fred's dollar store unloading trucks and stocking merchandise -----worked well with my class schedule

Delta Duck has some opening for an engineer in his summertime non-mechanicalized, unauthorized growth removal program ....$6.00 hr. starting salary & all the baloney sanwiches, moon pies & RC's you can eat & drink

This ain't the easiest thing to get into, but... I obtained some good kick backs by boarding labs for people during the off season.
Some folks would love you to keep, exercise and "work out" their mutt during the summer.
Also, there are those who'll pay to have you take a new pup and begin instilling the basics, sit, stay, and come.
Mind you, this is for those who know a little about dogs. At least enough that somebody will trust you

PCI, I pray that your tall, ugly self ain't speaking from expierence on the speedo and webcam thing.

That scares me just thinking about it.
