Edward Killen found Guilty

Does anyone think that he had a snowballs chance in hell that he wouldn't be found guilty. Public pressure was too great. Think about what would have happened if acquitted. Sure he is a racist and hateful man. Still sad to make an old man suffer like this. Mark my words he won't live another two years. Then he'll have some real answering to do. The man upstairs is very patient.

They had no case, but they knew that if the did nothing, ALL HE!! would break loose! Most of the people, and evidence, were dead and gone!! It is hard enough to try cases that are a year old!! BEEN THERE DONE THAT!!!

I don't understand.. Who's fault is this.. Just get black businessmen and woman to buy a business downtown.. It's not rocket science. I just better shut up before I get myself upset.

About the remark that Chaney made about the business owners downtown, that even made my wife mad and she is not even from here and she got upset over that little remark. "Its all just racial" that is what this whole thing is about but which way is the racist coming from.

I am not saying that Edgar Ray should have gotten away for what he was accused of doing by any means. But they have just went about it all the wrong way. They (Prosecuting Attorneys) make it out like living in Neshoba county is one falt to start with and being in the Klan is an automatic Death Sentence. I think that if the man did the crime then he should be just like everybody else including all of the blacks that you see walking around with their pants dragging the ground with their arses hanging out. The rule applies both ways. Why don't any of us ever stand up and fight to get their black arses prosecuted. Just like the school teacher that got murdered in 1991 in Quitman (white woman / black murderer) nothing EVER done. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea that I am in the Klan or anything like that this is just my opinion and it means nothing just like everybody elses. (to the justice system, just makes me feel better) I still stress the fact that if he did the crime he should get what he deserves.... if he makes it that long.

I remember learning in High School about the Klan and they were not always bad. My grandfather and I were talking just last Sunday and he said that when he was growing up he remembered the Klan and it was a good thing. There were not telephones everywhere and the police did not have cars that would drive 100 mph and could be at you placa in 5 minutes so this is what the Klan was for. It was usually a group of land owners, in those days 95% were of course white males. My grandfather is 76 years old he is talking about when he was a boy. He said that he remembered his father having to call on them once because some one was stealing some of his cows. My grandfather said that his older brother had to run several miles to the neighbors house because they had a car and they got the men and caught the perps before they got away. After this time period I believe it escalated to the many other dramatic views. I just don't want people to believe that in the beginning a couple of white guys(our great,great grandfathers) were sitting around and said "Hey, lets start up a group to kill people and hate black people"

Any way back to the racist part....he says we are racist because there is no black businesses in downtown. Hell there is a MEXICAN resturant two blocks from the court house. And by the way most blacks are smarter than that to start a business down town....it is just not good for business to have a DEALERSHIP soo close to the police ofice and the court house.

So that is what I think about the whole skoop and if you don't like it then that is you right as an American just as it is mine to feel the way I do. Once again if he did it then he deserves it but who's to say he did it??? I watched most of it and I do not recall anyone asking Mr. Killens if he killed anyone???

You wanna know why it isn't pursued the other way like the white teacher killed by the black student!! Because the minute that happens WE are racists and WE are trying to drag up the past and WE aren't willing to move on and WE are just trying to hold them down etc etc etc!! I thought they already did that, its called I55 and I 20 One thing i dont do is buy anything from hinds county, I have gotten to the point where my tax dollars are not going to jackson or hinds county. I would rather my tax dollars support my own schools, community, and local goverment than someone that has their hand out. Yes i know my paycheck is already doing that some, but why help them more when my taxes can help my county.

Actually, 55 and 20 run straight through the city. 220 is the closest thing to a bypass, but it still cuts through the edge of the city limits.

Yeah i know it runs through it, but you got to take an exit to get in the acutual city limits, I55 and I20 are all interstate and actually is not governed, owned, or controlled by the city of jackson. By the way it was joke son, you hear me, a joke, boy doesnt know what side to butter his toast on, like talking to a wall, i say that was a joke son..
