Yes I do and let me give you some examples.

Ole Miss fans mad that Dak won Conerly and picked first team SEC over Kelly because Kelly had more passing yards. Also these same fans claim the talent level is way higher in Oxford and that the Bears had an NFL WR corp but get mad when people make the argument that Dak had the better season with less talent around him.

These are also the same fans mad because Nkemdechie was not first team all SEC but when others pointed out that all the DL ahead of him had better stats the bear fans responded you can't go by stats even though they wanted to go by the passing yard stat with Kelly vs Dak.

This Ole Miss fan is not "mad" at anyone about anything. I am pretty happy right now. Rebs playing in Sugar Bowl, and I am going. Recruiting class looking good.

I'm puzzled a bit at this thread premise. But, it is somewhat entertaining to watch fans of LSU, Bama, and MSU criticize another school/head coach over player character issues.

Dak and Kelly had pretty similar stats this season, and both players had excellent seasons considering the QB play we've seen from both schools over the last 10 years. But if you want to get right down to the nut cutting, Kelly performed much better when it counted.

Prescott - 3,413 / 25 TD / 4 Int - 541 Rush yrds / 10 TD

Kelly - 3,740 / 27 TD / 12 INT - 427 Rush yrds / 10 TD

Here is where it really gets me if you have 2 comparable guys, getting on the ALL-SEC Team.

QB1 - 2,177 yards 21 TD. 5-1 Record vs SEC West

QB2 - 2,091 yards 15 TD. 2-4 Record vs SEC West

Who gets first team All-SEC on those numbers?

Also Bob didn't have the flashy numbers to put him on the 1st team, but he's just one of those guys that makes plays for other people because he demands a constant double / triple team. It's all gravy, wins over Bama, LSU, Auburn, and A&M one fluke 4th and 25 from Atlanta and headed to the Sugar Bowl... Y'all can have the Connerly

I'll be the first Ole Miss guy to tell you Dak deserved both the Conerly and 1st team SEC. I think he is a great player with great character and for sure had less talent around him. Now he does have 2 great receivers that will both play in the NFL. It doesn't bother me a bit that he won both.

As for Robert not being 1st team. That also doesn't bother me as his stats doesn't warrant it. I know a lot of Ole Miss folks feel due to his being double and triple teamed that affected his stats. But I can tell you after watching Ole Miss play this year I really liked it when Breeland Speaks was in his place. I am not sure losing Robert is going to be a huge loss that some of the other people do.

I also have love for my SEC brothern but like Webbie not the butthole lovin.

In closing I will say this - I have never seen fans from Alabama down a coach at Ole Miss like they have Freeze. Maybe its because they truly believe he doesn't have the character he says he has but maybe just maybe it has to do with him beating the almighty Saban the last two years or that they know in the future they are going to have to compete for the SEC west with him. Or maybe its the fact that he currently has the #1 recruiting class in the nation and has a chance to end Bama's run as having the #1 class for years. But I do know its fun and I am enjoying the ride as in 2 weeks Ill be in New Orleans and will be able to cross off a bucket list item.

You are one of the few not complaining about Robert making first team. I personally don't care the guy is good enough to be first team that position is just loaded in the SEC. These teams don't mean crap anyway. In the end all teams have players with issues and all teams have fans that are hypocritical, delusional, thrash, thugs, and anything else you can think of. My main problem with Freeze is that he seems to use religion to promote himself and I do not agree with that. Just reminds me of the old crooked TV evangelist. I have never met the guy and have no information about him personally outside of what we all see. It is just my opinion and the feeling I get. I hope he is the man he claims to be and if he is more power to him and I hope he has a long successful career. Ole Miss seems to be headed in the right direction and is maybe starting to build the depth needed to truly compete week in week out for a championship.
