Sure wish we would get one in the Memphis area.
Me too, but I really just wish Mack's would open another store here.
I was in the "new Macks" the other day (its probably not really that "new" but I have not been in forever), and it seemed like it was a lot smaller than in the old days, especially the "call counter." I want a store the size of Bass Pro, but no fishing, boats, kayaks, fudge, etc, just duck, deer and bird hunting stuff. Yeah, that's the ticket.

:D I'm gonna be in there so much they prolly try to put me to work. I hate bass pro and welcome Cabela's.

I hope bass pro and their high demand for perks to come open a store keeps them out of the entire Tennessee Valley.
Maybe Cabela's will grow and open more stores here.

I'm not real sure they (bass pro) expect to sell a lot of merchandise at the new location. It only has 8 registers in the whole store

Surely those will rub off

     I'd like to hear the gripe dejour. Lemme guess. You're friend's cousin's aunt's neighbor saw a giant dump truck with a DU logo pouring corn to short stop ducks up north?

Duramax maybe you need to take a closer look at how policy your organization is advocating actually affects individuals and private landowners who are responsible for most of the privately held duck habitat in this country.

Nope Duramax. First in 1990 they asked for 20 billion out of the farm program. Now they use money for habitat on private lands. I worked tirelessly for them back on the 80's was area chairman for events. The last thing that needs to be addressed is their fund raising. I had a real good friend lose his life after leaving a DU function and had too much to drink
If DU could do it they would buy every acre of land in the U.S. just so you couldn't hunt

I understand everything you are saying. But everyone has their own opinion and stuff on DU and delta. Everything has a good and bad I guess.

But the event issue. I'm sorry you lost a friend. But why is that DUs problem bc he had to much to drink? Never understood why people drink to much or whatever and leave and have a accident. Then it's the places fault bc they got the beer there. So lastly, you hate DU bc of the accident?

Levi All I'm saying is DU needs to look at the way they run banquets. I don't blame DU. But you and I know free alcohol higher bids. I just don't agree with DU's policies and politics

Torch, did you advocate such a stance prior to the banquet accident? Most area committees strive for higher bids, thus the alcohol availability. How many of the years as area chairman did you fight having alcohol before the accident? Just wandering. Thanks.
